These are wonderful, classic shoes and something that is increasingly hard to find.

The shoes look great & my daughter loved them out of the box...but I totally agree with the other reviews, they run extremely small. My daughter is 7, going into 3rd grade, she normally wears a size 1.5, so I went with a 2 thinking they should fit well. She couldn't even squeeze her foot in, hence the not being able to comment on comfort & arch support. We just ordered the size 3 because my very decisive daughter likes this style the best out of the 100's of choices on Zappos.com. I will update tomorrow (with Zappos lightning fast delivery!). FYI: these are for school (uniform).

Thank goodness for Zappos.com's great return policy...I left a previous review regarding how small these shoes run. My daughter, who normally wears a size 1.5 - 2, could not even squeeze her foot into the size 2. The size 3, after "squeezing" her feet in she couldn't walk because of the tight pinching on over her heel and small toes. Believe it or not, we just ordered the size 4! This is our last try. They are very pretty and well made shoes, so if your daughter has a narrow foot, this shoe would be perfect.
