This is a very cute little shoe, like the little brother of Simple's Satire, which doesn't come in sizes below 10. We ordered a size 9 -- my son has pretty big feet for 2 1/2 -- in the color "Rock Grey", which is a soft fawn tan. The size seems more like a 9.5, they are the same length as a pair of Pedipeds we have in 26 (9.5 in US). My main complaint is that there is no arch support. None. It is flat as a pancake inside. It is nice and padded, the sole
feels soft and flexible, its padded inside and seems grippy enough, but my son has decently high arches but also he pronates (his ankles roll in) heavily and has double jointed knees, and he needs firmer support on the inside of the arch and ankle. He's been wearing Pediped
for more than a year now, and those shoes
have great arch support. We have Simple's Satire shoe in size 10 for him to grow into, and that also has great arch support -- so why not the Scribble? Smaller kids
need arch support too! I would recommend Simple shoes
for older kids
more than this, but my son likes it so we'll keep
it, he'll get arch support from his Satires when he outgrows these.
