This is the first pair of Romika shoes that didn't work out for me. Usually their 39s fit just about perfectly but this pair were about a half inch too long and narrow enough to make my bunions protest. Also, the ankle felt a bit too wide, and not in a good way. The style is a fun update on the '60s "Beatle" boot. Perhaps they'd work well for someone with slender feet but, as I don't have narrow feet, that's just a guess.

These boots are very comfortable straight out of the box! I have very sensitive feet, and these boots feel great. They look good too.
