I wish I could sleep in these boots! I swear! They are the most comfortable, cozy shoes
I own to date. I struggled for a long time with the price of these boots. I have another pair of La Canadienne
boots and I knew that the quality would be top notch. The Canadians really know how to construct a good looking, comfortable, waterproof boot (and in the case of these boots-- warm/cozy too)! The fur lining is one of the best features of this boot. It is thinner than the Ugg
lining so the boot still looks sleek but it is thick enough to help keep
my legs warm in the cold Pacific Northwest winter weather. I live in Oregon and have been wearing these boots in the middle of the cold, rainy season (we are actually flooding now) and they are truly waterproof. No water has penetrated them whatsoever! I love the arch support in my Dansko
clogs and these have a bit less support. Following the advice of another reviewer, I ordered a half size bigger so that I can wear them with my Smartwool
padded foot-bed, knee-high socks. The fit with or without the wool socks is great. The styling is sleek enough for me to wear with casual dresses. I stand on my feet most of the day teaching preschool in the morning and college classes at night. When I get home I don't even want to take these off because my feet are so cozy and comfortable! I saved up for a long time to buy these boots. If they last at least 5 years, they are worth the hefty price. If La Canadienne
comes out with a dark brown version of these boots, I will begin saving for them immediately. Is there any way I can give these a rating of 6?
