At first I wasn't sure how they would fit. They feel great. They are so comfortable. I thought they would feel too tight around the toes. I'm used to wearing Dansko's and Birkenstocks. I did buy a half size bigger and no problems with my toes.

Well, what can I say. These are incredible Born boots, fit perfectly and inspire compliments right and left. I am a cellist and I perform and they stick out from my pants just right as a "
hip" ankle boot. Don't know how they will fare in the mud puddles but they are wonderful, fanciful, gorgeous show biz boots!

These boots would be great if it weren't for the following:
Where creases in the boots are forming, the velvet material is actually ripping.
Within the first week of having them the fabric on the tips wore off exposing white underneath.

I love these boots. Mine are paisley and I call them my Mick Jagger boots. I usually wear an 8½ or a 9 and I bought a 10 and wear fat socks. They are so cool and everyone, I mean everyone, has something good to say about them! Maybe the people who had riping did not buy them big enough! I love mine and have had no problems.

I took the advice of someone who bought these and ordered half a size up - big mistake! They are true to size even though the tip is pointy. Plenty of room there (unless you have very wide feet), beautiful and elegant boot!
