This is a super cute sneaker, but it's hard to get on my daughter's foot (probably because of the laces - it drives my husband crazy!). We ordered a 5.5w (she is 17 months) but I wish we had gotten an extra wide. She can walk better then she could in her Nikes because there is much more bend in the shoe, and that is why we prefer Stride Rites. I was psyched to find a shoe that wasn't all pink or some bright color.

My daughter loves these shoes. So do I. She has no trouble getting them on or off by herself. They look great (even though she's worn them almost everywhere - including preschool) for the past few months. The shoes are designed for the toddler foot - so there's not a lot of arch support. The only reason I mention this is that my daughter is 3 1/2 and has small feet for her age. She has Down syndrome. She doesn't really run much, but is learning in these shoes. While I would buy these again - I may look for something with better arch support for her next pair of shoes.
