After not being able to run for nearly a year because of Runner's Knee/chondromalacia, these
shoes have helped get me back on the track. They are very comfortable, and wide enough in the toe box for me -- which is a problem I have had with other sneakers. My feet are not particularly wide, but they are not narrow, either, and Nikes hurt a lot, squeezing and constricting the widest part of my foot.
Asics make the tops of my feet go numb; I can never adjust the laces enough to make it stop. This shoe is best for warmer weather or climates, and for people whose feet tend to sweat and get hot in other
shoes. Living in South Florida, they
keep me comfortable. They seem to be padded in all the right places for me, but they are not a heavily padded shoe by any means. I believe it's a good compromise between a very padded sneaker and a minimalist shoe -- and I've had tremendous improvement in my knee since I started wearing these.
