Great pair of sneakers. They are as comfortable as my 3 years old Asics Gel-Nimbus 11 right out of the box. I have the green one. The tread has excellent traction, almost like a hiker. They will last longer than a regular sneaker for sure. On inside they are soft and very comfortable. Some of the best to my fit so far. I was looking for the Asics Gel-Nimbus originally but these are keepers. There is a nice little pocket for the shoe laces also. Highly recommended.

These shoes were comfortable out of the box and have only become more so as they break in. The toe box is quite roomy, which accommodates my slightly wider than average foot. Also, they provide decent arch support in the midfoot and just enough stability in the rear foot to address my mild overpronation.

The shoe is comformtable and provides good traction in wet muddy conditions on an incline. The one negative I found in the fit of the shoe is that it does not have a good lace system. The shoe seems lose around the ankle and around the heel even when pulled down tight. I have other ASICS shoes that have a better lace system.

Being short on time to visit a store I tried Zappos and was completely satisfied. I found the current reviews helpful in making a choice and the sizing was perfect out of the box comfort.

Just got my second pair today and they are on my feet as I write this. Man, do I love these shoes. They are sturdy and oh so comfy. I will now go run all the way to Far Rockaway, Queens from my place here in Throgs Neck, Bronx, then down to Coney Isle, Brooklyn and over the bridge into the city then straight up the Island back into the beautiful Bronx. When I get there I will have a beer and watch a hockey game.

Excellent feel. Great style. Good lace system. Excellent heel support. Shoe just too narrow. No E width.

This is my third pair of Trabucos in the past five years and this pair really confirms why I just keep coming back. I originally ordered the Trail Sensors and the 2170s to see if I might prefer something a bit different, but neither had the balance that I sought between comfort, support, and all-terrain traction. The 2170s were too rigid for me and the traction did not look all that great for anyone but runners, while the Trail Sensors were flexible and had great traction, but they would have necessitated a sole insert to provide them with some cushioning so that my feet could tolerate the shoes for an extended period of time. These shoes provide me with an all-around great feel and I know that I am getting great value with how long they last. I am not a huge fan of the white stripes (but I like the green), especially for trail shoes since they are going to get visibly dirty, but it is a small price to pay for shoes that feel great for everyday use both on the street and off trail.

Finally, I've hit paydirt. After many a shoe, these are simply the best. I wear size 15 and these fit perfect and the comfort is unmatched in anything I've tried before. These shoes make me want to run from Kelso to Inverness over to Dunbar and back to Ayr.

I really wanted this item to work. I like Splendid brand and that items are made in US. However, the stripes were crooked & they didn't line up. Colors were great but because of lopsided striping, shirt didn't look good on me. Sad to have to return.
