The
FOSSIL MADDOX TOP ZIP is pretty cool for a cross-body bag. The adjustable shoulder strap can go shorter or longer and fits me cross-body and I'm 5'9". There silver-toned hardware including a BIG
fossil key and leather key lock key chain that you can remove or leave it on as a charm. There's plenty of pockets on the outside and slip pockets on the main compartment inside. And thankfully
Fossil stopped with the contrast stitching that made their
bags look cheap. This one has dark brown thread on the black bag so it's barely noticeable. One issue that I have had is with the top zipper: on the
end of the zipper it's closed -- like most
Fossil bags -- which is good since you don't have to fiddle with re-attaching the zipper to the teeth, and this part is tucked inside the bag. However, when I opened up the zipper all the way, the
end part got curved and I had a hard time closing the bag until I popped out the zipper's
end, which made it easier to close, but then I had a hard time getting it back in. I could've just left it out but the zipper
end looks funny sticking out like that. No dust bag is included, which is a shame since
Fossil is starting to charge designer prices for their
bags. This bag is comparable to the Sutter Crossbody bag that
Fossil came out with years ago.
