I love these shoes, my son has very wide feet and they fit great. They are easy on easy off, he is 5 so he is able to put them on and off himself. I bought them about six months ago and they are in great condition. They are the only shoes that he wears.

These are more silver than they appear. In the picture, they look more grey, white, and black. They have a top strap that crosses the shoe to Velcro on. The bottom part does not open. They seem to fit true to size and width, though, so we kept them.

We bought these shoes 8 weeks ago and the Velcro is completely worn off. The fit is great and true to size, but they are useless now without the Velcro to hold the strap in place. I also talked to our local Stride Rite store and they told me they have had problems with the strap breaking. Disappointing.

My 4 year old loves these shoes. They are easy for him to take on an off. I only gave 2 stars because the end of the Velcro will not stay in place. They were like this from the first day. In fairness, I did not report this to Zappos or Stride Rite yet as I don't have time to return them and the shoes stay on; they just look slightly unkempt even though they are new.
