I buy wide shoes because I have a very low arch. These shoes turned out to be very comfortable and can easily accommodate socks and shoe inserts. The leather/fabric upper is soft and supple and the heel is wide and supportive. They look very nice with slacks. Because they are made of suede, I suppose they do not do well in snow or rain and the leather may scuff if not treated properly. Other than that, I would definitely recommend them and buy them again.

Classy, comfortable - alas I have found a closed toed shoe that looks great on and has a reasonable heel. I love them so much that I ordered another pair in black. I usually order a half size up in Vaneli.

Beautiful shoes! But sadly I will be returning them. They really hurt the sides and ball of my feet. I ordered a 9W since that was the widest the shoe comes, but they are still not wide enough (I usually wear a 9WW and can sometimes get away with a 9W). After finding so many fashionable and comfortable shoes on Zappos, I no longer feel compelled to keep a shoe just because it happens to be cute and I can squish my fat foot into it. I even forgot what it felt like to walk around in pain from ill fitting shoes, but these shoes were an instant reminder. I finally took them out of the box today and wore them for two hours around the office. Two hours too many. Very cute, but not wide enough or comfortable enough for my Flintstone feet.

Beautiful show and true to size. I need a little roomier toe box due to a toe problem, but if you don't have foot problems, this should work fine for you. Nice sleek boot-like design. Wish I could have kept it.

The shoe is beautiful and comfortable on the front part of my foot, however the heel is wide and slipped. Sorry to send them back.
