Highly recommend, flattering fit and very comfortable however note that they do run small. I usually wear a size 4 however had to exchange for a size 6.

The material is very nice and soft for nylon. The style is flattering but I felt it ran a little small. I'm 5'5", 120lbs and usually a size 6. These looked nice on but were a bit snug for hiking so if you are in between sizes I would suggest sizing up. The rise was a little lower than expected. The inner drawstring is a nice feature. It is a great pant if you can get it to fit.

Great looking but a few important issues/problems. 1) they are quite narrow. 2) they are pretty slick on the bottom... I'll explain, there is nice looking tread but is mostly useless because the design ends up making the ground contact as one big flat piece so nothing digs in on soft surfaces. The rubber is pretty grippy on rock but a true approach shoe should be able to get you to the rock without slipping on every soft surface. 3) the lace design looks like a climbing shoe but is definitely NOT the same. It works ok but not as it seems it would. 4) As far as a "hiker"... No way, you would have a terrible day in these if you where carrying a pack or crossing many different surfaces like we have here in the real world. Also, they do not breath well at all. I wore them out on a pretty cold day and just walked around... nothing aggressive at all and my feet where totally wet with sweat after only an hour. My feet are almost never like this. Maybe on hot summer days in full hiking boots. The foam tongue is a little weird but works fine. Over all, I would say this is a Great looking shoe for folks with narrow feet, and want to have a very stylish kick around shoe but not for anything serious.

Fantastic shoe, fits perfectly if you're familiar with Adidas shoe sizing, and rugged enough for any occasion. I purchased the black ones, and use them just about every day. They have broken in well after only a few weeks, and are actually more comfortable than some of the Adidas sneakers I've had in the past. Not too shabby for outdoor shoes, and forget about stubbing your toe; these things are indestructible. The lace bungee strap was a nice surprise as well.

Can only describe these as awesome. They are very similar to an indoor soccer shoe, but are a bit stiffer through the sole and toe. I've only broken them in for 6 hours or so, but they feel great, fit perfect (size 11, based on the official sizing chart provided by Zappos), and I can tell already they are gonna last me forever. Tempted to buy a 2nd pair for safe keeping until the first wears out! Fast and free shipping were great.

The shoe is comfy and a great everyday wear. My boyfriend wanted them to hike in, and now he wears them daily. I was shipped a size 9 instead of the 10 we wanted, but they still fit him well, so we just kept the 9. Overall great company I will for sure shop in the future.

The Terrex Solo is a very nice, well fitting shoe. I use it for every day use. The sole is stiff at first, but after a day or two breaks in well. I have done a lot of walking in them with no problems. For reference I wear a neutral running shoe. Also, if you want a different insole, you will need a thin one. There is not much extra room in the shoe. As always Zappos is tops.

These shoes are awesome. So cool looking, very comfortable, and hella durable. There were no reviews when I bought them, so I had a feeling I might be sending them back, but no way. I knew the minute I out them in they were staying. I have the blue. Considering buying them in thee other color now. Oh, and I can easily wear them all day without any foot fatigue and there was zero break in time, but I can't speak to using them as fitness shoes, per se. Just cool shoes to wear around. Love them!

This is a great shoe -- very comfortable, and it looks good. I only gave it 3 Stars overall, though, because I've been through 2 pairs of these. The first pair lasted 2 weeks before they developed a squeak under the ball of the right foot...right when I was walking through an airport. By the time I got back from vacation a week later, the squeak was so loud and annoying that I stopped wearing the shoes for a few weeks. Zappos Customer Service was great when I contacted them, and I received a replacement pair. This new pair only lasted 4 days before they developed the same squeak in the ball of the right foot. This time, Customer Service has assured me that it's probably just moisture trapped in the shoe, and sprinkling some powder in the shoe should stop the problem. I'll try it out, and report back in a few days. Still, though -- aside from a pair of Converses that had a mysterious squeak in the heel, I've never had this problem before. And certainly not from a pair of sneakers this expensive.

I purchased these for a two week trip to Europe. I was replacing some urban oriented Montrails that I had used on my last trip. These shoes were fantastic for long, meandering walks trough urban environments. I've got some lower back problems and certain shoes tend to aggravate my back versus others. These shoes are not "cushiony" but firm and flexible at the same time. Throughout a long day the shoe expands to accommodate swelling feet. The mesh upper allows moisture to escape. The soles are slippery in wetter environments.

Great design, color combinations, and fit until I stood up and walked around. Way too stiff and uncomfortable for my feet. Disappointed.
