A few years ago I had a similar Baffin style shoe that I beat into the ground. Solid, well-made shoes. I have a casual style, so I like the look of these on my feet. I wear a size 9 and need to add Super Feet insoles to all my shoes. When I added the Super Feet to these Baffins, it was a perfect fit -- not too tight, not loose.

These are nice boots. They have good grips on bottom and will not slide on ice. However, I do find the top of the zipper digs into the front of my ankle and hurts. Prevented by wearing longer socks.

I bought the black Baffin Zip shoe for myself and the mens for my husband. I always wear a size 8, but after trying these shoes on, my toes were hitting the front of the shoe. The shoe is great looking and seems comfortable otherwise. I am waiting for the 9, since there are no 1/2 sizes. I also exchanged the mens for a larger size assuming they run small also.

I bought the size 9 after reading the review that shoe is smaller than sizing - 9 is usually the highest shoe size I've ever worn. But, 9 was too small, so, I bought a size 10 since they don't sell half sizes. Unfortunately, shoe is too big, my feet seem to move around within the shoe so that I don't get a firm step. I would return it but it seems odd to return after using it about a handful of times, especially using it through this winter, so just living with it. I'm trying to see if I wear extra thick socks if it will minimize my feet moving around the shoe. Shoe is very warm even with average thickness in winter socks, which I like. I like the look of the shoe as well. I would say my feet are average as I can find standard shoes in about any stores.
