I absolutely love these boots! They are so stylish, warm, and comfortable! The gunsmoke color goes great with everything. I have received so many compliments on these boots.

This is a fabulous pair of boots! I give it five stars for being comfy. It also looks chic, and my jeans can easily fit inside the boots (regular straight cut, not skinny jeans). The only drawback I can think of is the strap that goes around the perimeter of the top of the boot. It is cumbersome to put on the boots, because you have to navigate that darned strap! I don't think it really has a function at all. Please note that I am a size 7 1/2 and I bought size 8 because of the reviews here, which indicate these boots run half a size small. So buy half a size larger than you normally would. Great boots!

Love these boots! I'm short (5'2") and these boots hit about mid-calf. They're super comfy and seem well made. I haven't had them long, but I've worn them with jeans and also with the blue Patagonia Margot dress (also from Zappos) and they looked great with both. The shaft is slightly narrow, but I'm medium build and they fit my calves just fine and that makes them look that much better with a dress.

I love these boots! I just wore them on a trip to Cape Cod in the winter, where I trudged through sand and snow. They held up great, were water-tight, warm, very comfortable, and looked fantastic the whole time. Seriously, I can't believe how well they held up to the sand and salt water. A quick brush off was all they needed. The encased cork sole is very cushy and makes walking in these boots very pleasant. A few caveats, though-- I bought them a half size bigger and they fit perfectly, even with my Superfeet insert. I did not feel they had enough arch support without the insert. Also, they were super-tight at first on my wide calves and there was some bunching at the ankles that was uncomfortable at first. They stretched out a bit after wearing them for a week, though, and now I can even wear them over skinny jeans. The bunching has stopped as well. Finally, the loop strap comes loose if I don't loop it around the button twice. Over all I could not recommend these boots highly enough!

This boot fit right out of the box. It's light, it's cute, the color is nice and not drab. I have somewhat narrow feet so other reviewers who marked this boot as narrow may be onto something.I like these boots a lot as they are very light, waterproof and have good support and they look good. However, I was looking for a more three season shoe and I'm going with a pair of Blundstones instead. Oh, and you could totally fit a pair of skinny jeans in these but they don't look loose around the calf if you're only wearing tights.

I've worn these for about months now. No break-in period was needed. They were immediately comfortable. The negative heal of Earth shoes has resolved the back ache I have when standing for long periods. I bought these for a costume. I spend hours standing and walking at events and conventions. Neither my feet or my back hurt anymore when I wear these boots! They also easily fit my calves!

The best boots I've ever owned & I've owned plenty. I never wanted a zipper boot but this one is virtually hidden.

These boots were comfy and fit my muscular/larger calves, but they were just a little shorter than I wanted. I'm 5'5" and wanted something that almost came up to my knee -- these weren't it. Great arch support, the leather was nice, and cute, even if it isn't a streamlined look.

Overall, these are great. They are very comfortable. I ordered an 8. I wear between a 7½ and 8. These feel a bit large but I am keeping them. My main concern was the fit over the calf, which is absolutely perfect! I am wearing thick socks and cotton leggings and the calf still fits.

Love these boots! Wish I ordered a half size larger, just for ultimate comfort -- they "just" fit in the size I normally wear in most boots and shoes, but I think it would feel even better to have them a half size larger and wear with thick socks. Still, I really love them. The leather is very soft and a I love the color (I got Bark Brown). They are very warm, and seem excellently water resistant. The soles are non-slip and I feel really secure in them. Totally practical, fun boot with a style that projects confidence and command! Not a sleek boot, not incredibly versatile, but earthy and grounded and still able to be made feminine by the way I dress around the boots. I hope I have them for my lifetime.
