Excellent fit for my wide foot when I order the WW. Didn't work with the C. Overall a handy shoe in that it is very very hard to find a strappy shoe that isn't matronly looking in a true wide and that fits me. The only downside is that there is this lining that only goes as far as right across the midstep of the forefoot, so it is like this weird crease under your foot -- and the
sole of the foot is very hard and non-padded, so it is hard underfoot, and the "weird crease" effect where the lining ends is uncomfortable to me (and that is just wearing it around my carpeted house for a while, as one must do when trying out a shoe). Naturally, I only did that test for a little while (since only a couple rooms are carpeted in our house) and I imagine when walking on sidewalks or restaurants/bar/dancefloors or whatever the bottom of feet will start to throb due to the fact that the
sole is rockhard. But for the price, I will
keep it, as I don't have any strappy dress
shoes that are pretty enough to go with fashionable attire. These are neutral enough in the bronze that they are fairly easy to go with lots of things and not draw too much attention to the foot, which is good for a shorter woman such as myself and will make it versatile, even if it might hurt the ball of the foot after sustained wear on a non-carpeted surface.
