These are absolutely wonderful! A pair of comfortable wedges for nice outing or a Sunday dress. Boating would be a great occasion too! You can't go wrong with these and if you're debating the size go up if you have a wide foot, they take a while to break in! Enjoy them.

Left an old review saying that the metal stud was a no-no for those w/ nickel, or metal allergies. I gave my last pair away for that reason. I loved the shoes couldn't stop thinking about them. Then it hit me! I could bring them to a shoe repair to put fabric between my foot and the metal stud, so I ordered them again. Guess what? Volatile has already fixed the issue and put the material over the stud! Yay! Comfortable an goes with everything, makes the leg look great and dirt cheap! Great for city walkers.

I wanted buy my father-in-law some new Boat shoes. I simply got his size from him, and typed in Boat shoes in the search engine on Zappos and these came up. I trust the Rockport brand. My granddaddy would always wear these. So I felt confident that my father in law would have good supportive shoes for his diabetic feet. He put them on and has worn them every day since his birthday! He sometimes wears a wide, and since I thought D meant wide I kind of messed up, but he says they are working fine, and he didn't need to return them. I am very happy with the shoes and will definitely order Rockports again from Zappos.com.

I find this shoe very comfortable and with the tie, very accommodating of my width and occasional swelling.

Soft leather, not much support. Great for older person, perhaps if you have feet that need room. Good heel strike pad but no arch support.

I ordered these shoes for my father. He has limited mobility so I was hoping for something comfortable and easy to slip on. These are great - he's often hard to please but he LOVES these shoes. They do go on easy but they also give good support, and to top it all off they look great! I knew I could count on Rockports - my son the lawyer who is on his feet all the time swears by his.
