This is the second pair of Nike Sunray Protect sandals I have bought. I originally bought the pink ones in size 4. I was so satisfied with the shoe that I bought these purple ones in size 5. The sole of the shoe is flexible and doesn't require much breaking in, but you can tell by feeling it that it protects. The upper is made of neoprene I believe, which is great because it can get wet and dries quickly. Even though it allows for good air circulation throughout the foot, it offers toe protection so she can wear them to daycare. The only thing I would mention is that, like other Nike products, this shoe does tend to run a little small. The size 4 sandals she grew out of are the only size 4 shoes that no longer fit. Other than that, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

These are fantastic sandals / water shoes if your child has narrow feet like my 18 month old! They are supportive, have good coverage, and great grip. We use them to play in the sprinkler, go to the beach, or just throw them on to go play in the backyard. Another nice thing is that if they get dirty you can just rinse them with water and give them a few hours to dry. I would recommend them to anyone, and we will probably buy another pair for next summer!

Great all purpose shoe -- good for the yard and the pool. Stays on well. My daughter usually does not take them off. Dries quickly.

I purchased these for my 15 month old niece. She loves them and receives compliments every time her little feet are in these easy to wear shoes. She often carries them around in her hand when not on her feet. I am purchasing her next size up now.

Great, summer-every day shoes. Light, soft, easy to put on, good on a wet grass, in a sand box, or mud. Easy to clean. The purple color looks good with a lot of outfits. We love these shoes!
