This is an elegant, formal-looking shoe with a satin finish and distinctive heel shape. The bow is substantial and sturdy, lending an 18th century appearance atop a tapered, squared toe. I also have the Fawn Walking Cradle which, by comparison, is far more casual with a smaller bow, a rounded toe -- and it is a bit short in the toe box. I wear the
Walking Cradles more because they have a rubber
sole and are more casual, but the
Ros Hommerson is quite impressive for professional and evening wear.
