These gloves are great at what they're designed for. I was at a rifle class on a boggy range and had to get up and down off the soggy ground and maintain enough dexterity to manipulate my gun. They got very wet immediately, but kept my hands warm in mid-30's weather, which is pretty impressive considering my terrible circulation. They were thin enough to make rifle manipulation easy, and I could even load magazines with them on. My only complaint is that there's a clip on the left hand side of each glove to clip them together. Trying to wipe your nose on the right glove (this may be more of a concern for lefties - I am one) results in raking a sharp plastic clip against your already cold and tender nose. Also, towards the end of the day, the tag ends that are sewed into the seam of the glove started rubbing against the back of my hand. No big deal, and before the next time I use them, I'll trim the melted nylon ends off, but I have a little raw spot at the base of the back of my thumb from it. My hand measurement was on the high side of medium and the low side of large, and since I have weird alien fingers, I opted for the large; there are few things less annoying than gloves with fingers that are too short. The gloves were a little loose, and the fingers were actually a little long, so if you're undecided and don't have abnormally long fingers, try the smaller size.

Outdoor Research is the absolute best. I need to hold equipment and use my fingers and stay warm. I have various Outdoor Research gloves and these rate highly. Other gloves do not fit and do not allow precise movement or they do not keep me warm.

The gloves are comfortable and true to size. I find one fault with them. There is a lining on the top part of the inside that protects from the wind. Awesome so far but there isn't any on the bottom so the cold air actually freezes your palm on the inside.Which makes the top protective layer illogical. No sense in only the top part because the hand can feel the cold more when touching surfaces and it seems they have gone cheap not to finish the inner layer all around. For the price it was not worth it. I mean it feels good on the hands and thin enough to be able to do things like get the bus ticket out of the pocket. Not so easy to use on the smart phone either.

Excellent fit. I am a surgical glove size 6.5 for those of you in the medical field who may be buying these gloves. They are not ski gloves but definitely warmer than just liners. Good for driving.

I purchased these gloves for a trip to Alaska. I followed the size chart and ordered medium which fit perfectly. The coldest temperature we had was mid 40s and they kept my hands warm, even while kayaking. I think that technically they are liners but I wore them as is and they were fine. The fabric has some stretch so they fit very comfortably. I would definitely recommend these gloves.
