Somewhat unconventionally, I purchased this shoe in white to wear to my wedding (with a formal bridal gown). I was aware that the shoe was a bit too casual for my dress, but for me it was so worth it. My priorities in searching for wedding shoes were a) at least a 3 inch heel, as my husband is a whole foot taller than me (and bridesmaids both 5 inches taller than me) and b) comfort. I did not want to be in excruciating pain at the end of my wedding day. Finding a shoe that met these two criteria was nearly impossible, until I found this one! I knew it was on the too-casual side, but figured that they wouldn't be visible very often anyway, considering that my dress came to the floor. I am very happy with my choice. My shoes were visible more often than I had hoped (it rained heavily and I had to continually hold my dress up outside). However, I was comfortable all day. And now I have a really cool pair of gorgeous sandals I will actually wear again, as opposed to a pinchy pair of white satin pumps. I also got several compliments on them that people thought they were a young, fun, cute surprise under the formal gown. Of course, people always compliment the bride, but whatever, I think the comments were sincere. Also, the shoes are beautifully made with excellent workmanship. The leather is incredibly soft! I wish I could get them in every color!

I love these shoes. They are so comfortable. I wore them to a wedding for the first wearing and was surprised that they felt so good all day and night!

Let me just say that these are wonderful shoes. My first thought (and maybe yours, too) about Born shoes is that they are comfy old lady shoes or comfy tree hugger shoes...Wrong! These shoes are very stylish and extremely comfortable. I love the little detail on the T-strap and the heel height feels like you are wearing flats. A GREAT shoe that I recommend to everyone.

These are very pretty (bought them in the gold color) and mostly comfortable. There is not a lot of "support" due to the strappy-ness of the sandal so I don’t know that I could wear them all-day long, but they are great for shorter periods of time.

Love this shoe, bought it in black. Great fit and true to size. I am not a big heel wearer, so I was hesitant, but very comfortable.
