These are my favorite tennis type shoes ever!! Perfect for walks - perfect for wii fit or other type of floor exercise. I have the pink and wish they still had the black in my size. I regret not getting them both when I had the chance and could have sent them back for free if they didn\'t fit. Zappo please replenish this shoe. Zappo is the best place to buy shoes. You can\'t beat the customer attitude and service. Fabulous!! Thank you!

These are interesting shoes. They do look cool and attract a lot of attention, but for me they were not very comfy. The toe separation thing is hard to get used to and the velcro strap is too tight across the top. Also, they don't breathe very well and my feet get hot. I'll stick with my Nike Free 5.0 shoes, even though they're all beat up!

Great shoe! All shoes should be this comfortable, easy, and cool. I keep these in my car and can throw them on in a jiff. Perfect for a lunch break walk, running errands after a long day in heels, or kicking around town on the weekend. I don't feel totally dorky wearing these with non sporty clothes. They are so, so comfortable, I am thinking about getting a pair for my mom who is on her feet a lot of the day, and my 85 year old grandma who is constantly complaining about uncomfortable shoes. I have only two complaints...the price and the fact that you can't wear regular socks, Nike not making any special socks.

These shoes are the coolest! They will definitely get noticed. They are super comfortable and to me feel a bit like an enclosed flip-flop. Easy on and easy off and well cushioned. Zappos service is the BEST on the planet. Their shipping is unbelievable, and their customer service is A-1. I tell everyone I know to shop at Zappos. I am a customer for life!

Excellent shoe for man or woman... First off just like to say that I’m a man, not a woman but I was unable to find these shoes anywhere outside of the UK for men. I had to wait a good while for a pair to become available in a size large enough for my feet. Size 13 womens/11 mens was still a tight fit though. First off they look gorgeous; they have a very unique look with the split toe design. You'll be getting a lot of looks at your shoes should you buy these and even more questions on where you purchased them. I gave comfort 4 stars instead of 5 simply because it took a while for my feet to shape the shoe. Once it was worn in a bit it was like I was not wearing any shoes at all (in a good way mind you). Very light, incredibly comfortable and they are very easy to adjust to your own comfort level with the straps on the back and front. It may seem strange at first with the split toe design but once you actually have them on you’ll wonder why more of this type of shoe aren’t around. It makes the shoe incredibly comfortable. Don’t expect to be wearing socks (there are places where you can purchase socks for this shoe but I think no socks is the better way to go). Overall, yes I’m a man and I bought women’s shoes; they are a very nice shoe for a man or a woman. If you’re a guy and want a pair of these just buy the women’s size two sizes above your own and you’re good to go. If you’re feet are larger then size 12 then you might be out of luck.

Best tennis shoe ever - I have been looking for the right tennis shoe that wasn’t too heavy and bulky. I found this shoe and just fell in love with it. I have ordered three pair so far. I plan on getting every color. I don’t have an arch so it works for me and I am very petite. I love it. Wouldn’t change it for nothing in the world.

Super Cute! But a little snug... It very well could be my fault, but because I was not planning on wearing them with socks, I ordered a half size smaller. I think Nike assumes you aren't going to wear socks, so they did it for you. Order your true size. Other than that, I LOVE THESE SHOES!

Not good for high arches - I think the shoe would have been very comfortable, if the strap had been long enough to go over my high arches. The velcro strap would only fit if I pulled it very tightly. Too tight to wear at that point. It seemed like it would have given good arch support and been comfortable. The pattern that I ordered was a bit busy for my taste, and the split toe seemed comfortable, if a bit odd. If it came in a solid color with a longer strap, I would have kept it.

Very happy with these! My feet are different sizes (my left foot is a 7, while my right is a 6.5), so I always have problems with maryjane-style shoes rubbing and chafing and being either too loose or too tight. But a 7 in these fit me perfectly and I have had no blisters whatsoever! I give them 4 stars for style because I really don't see the point of the split toe, and it's a little weird to get used to (though you can wear socks with these with no problem). But otherwise, it's a perfect blend of sneaker and maryjane!

The boots are attractive, comfortable, and true to size. I have worn them on a couple of longish hikes with no problems, e.g., blisters, sore ankles, but they are light hikers. I would not use them for hiking on rough terrain or for backpacking. They don't give enough support and protection for such uses.

I've been a habitual cowboy boot wearer for as long as I can remember, but eventually having wooden soles caught up to me. Modern cobblery sure has advanced; these shoes are remarkably comfortable and my foot has begun to relax into a more natural shape. I use them for everything including hiking and even running. I'm not the type to have more than a couple pairs of shoes and so far these are living up to the job. The only reason they do not get 5 stars is that they are already showing some minor signs of wear, as these are not the kind of shoe you can repair easily I'm sure they will not last as long as my boots (10 years+), but sadly that's to be expected of modern shoes, I guess.

Nice Shoe - Nice Gore-TEX shoe. I put them on right out of the box and went on a 4 mile walk. No break-in period required. As always, shipping was unbelievably fast.

Coming from a frequent North Face customer, I have to say I was disappointed in this boot. I purchased to replace my Vasque Catalysts for a Grand Canyon overnighter this past November. I was surprised at the overall lack of ANY cushioning within the uppers which seemed to rub the toes a bit much. Sadly these were returned for Merrel Chameleons.

Hedgehog Mid GTX - I've had the shoe for a couple of weeks now. This is my first pair of North Face shoes and I would definitely buy this brand again. The Hedgehog Mid GTX is light on my feet, comfortable, and they look good.

Tremendous Value - I got two pairs, one for me and one for son. Size was right on with medium thick socks. We used them for some moderate hiking in Denali Park in Alaska. Summer weather and limited water but boots performed flawlessly. Comfortable from the moment we put them on in addition to being light weight and durable. EXCELLENT VALUE.

Ten Mile Day Right Out Of The Box - Super Light with great traction. I was a little reluctant to try these because of the low mid cut, but much to my delight these boots really deliver ankle support and breathe well in high temps. I'd definitely buy these again.

Great boot so far - but I needed to order up - Great boot so far, but I did need to reorder a 1/2 size larger - and I never do this - Larger size fits far better (esp. w thick hiking socks).
