My husband I both have these court
shoes for play & like them. Size is good as my husband needs the XX wide size & these are great. He plays a lot of pickleball & the
shoes really get a workout on a daily basis. Mine do not work as hard, but I wear them a lot & like them very much. Highly recommended.

I play Platform Tennis throughout the winter and need good grip, comfort, and support. 803s do it all. And you look like the coolest guy ever in these babies!

This is a great tennis shoe! I had been suffering foot problems such as plantar fasciitis and arthritic-like pains. These
shoes felt good from the start and after playing tennis in them for several weeks my foot problems have abated.

There are not a lot of court
shoes designed for folks like me who are
medium-heavy (6' - 205lb) and have
medium-wide feet (E or EE). These
shoes provide plenty of lateral stability for playing ball, and are fairly comfortable off the court. My only nitpick is that they get hot quickly - that's the inevitable downside to having lots of stability padding. Now, if
New Balance would only keep their lineup stable so that we wouldn't have to keep finding new shoe models each year...

New Balance is my choice brand having EE width. I rotate three pair and like them all. I do replace with inserts immediately.

This is my 3rd or 4th pair of these. Very good shoe for handball...Good cushioning, stability, arch support, traction, and durability. Several of my friends use them as well.

Watch your backside!
New Balance has been a good provider for years. Very sad to see them slip in attention to product quality. 803's have a design deficiency. Thin rear outside sole that after a few hard matches will land you on your rear as slick plastic comes in contact with the court. I also tried the 654's and found the metal you lace through had been removed (vs. 653) so the laces pull through the "leather" in the hole below the top (Runner's knot) holes. Happened twice.
Guess we need to pay attention to the design more when purchasing or look for alternatives. Again too bad, they had produced nice-looking, comfortable, capable (for reasonably skilled players who play hard)
shoes.

I love
New Balance shoes, but these are the exception. I play a lot of tennis and bought these because I have wide feet and love NB. I have to say that I really do not like these
shoes. At first I thought they just needed breaking-in, but I have worn the sole thin and they are still uncomfortable and stiff. They feel like they have no give and will not bend easily, which, while supportive, don't allow for quick direction changes. I am now looking for a lighter, more flexible shoe even if I have to give up some side support.

The tennis shoe is very comfortable, but has not helped my tennis game. I
guess I cannot blame the shoe!!!!!

Tennis NB shoe review -
Everything seems fine so far. I've worn them 3 times for pickle ball and they feel great.
