These sandals are a huge disappointment. I feel that the Mephisto description of the air layer in the foot bed was misleading. In fact, I think the entire descriptive blurb was misleading. I expected this sandal to have a comfortable cushioned foot bed, and it didn't.

For the price, I expected this shoe to be REALLY comfortable, and it definitely wasn't. As another reviewer mentioned, the front of the ankle strap rubs against your ankle right from the first moment you put them on. The style is fine for a comfort shoe.

Very comfortable shoe for narrow feet.
I bought this sandal in 2 colors because it fit my narrow feet and was so comfortable. I like Mephisto for their great support and the nubuck is soft and comfortable. This shoe comes in metallic colors, but they aren't as soft as the nubuck.

Fits well, looks nice and is kind of dressy. It’s comfortable, slight bit more arch support would always be good for me, but pretty good anyway. I have one of the worst feet to find comfortable shoes and one's that give good support. These do that plus are very attractive on. A big plus.

The most comfortable sandals ever!
These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn! I can spend all day on my feet in my riding boots and get really achy feet, then put on these sandals and feel like I've just had a foot massage. They mold to my feet and have excellent arch support. Also, they are really soft.
I'm really picky about shoes, these are great!

These shoes pinch the toes. But the excruciating pain comes from the rubbing on the heel of the foot from the strap. The straps have extremely rough and sharp edges. I've worn them twice since last year and each time it cuts my skin. Guess needs to do a better job at making their shoes comfortable. What a waste!

I bought this shoe in red and was very pleased. It appeared narrow so I purchased a half size larger then usually and they fit perfect.

Too narrow for my toes -
The silver is very cute, but the shoe was too narrow for my toes. They were all pinched trying to fit. I ordered a half size up to solve this problem, but then there was too much gap at the arch and the heel. Maybe the shoe will fit someone else better - it is super cute and sexy, just not right for me.
