Nice shoe - This is a very comfortable shoe, once you get it on your foot! It is a bit of a struggle, even with laces that loosen, to get my foot into this shoe and to take it off again. But, once on, the foot is wrapped in comfort and support. They are the most comfortable cross trainers I've worn in years. Others have commented on the "height advantage" offered by these shoes, and they are correct! They seemingly add an inch to one's stature. There's also an added "spring in the step," even when simply walking. This is a good, comfortable shoe, at a fair price.

New shoes from ZAPPOS - Never ordered from Zappos before and had always complained about my feet hurting this has been the best pair of shoes I could have tried. I feel great. I am diabetic and need comfort, am on my feet all day and these shoes are great.

Height Shoes - These shoes will add an inch or so to your height if you're self conscious. Anyway, they may be difficult to adjust to if you are used to such a "thick" sole. The cushioning is unsurpassed but comfort is decreased due to the chunkiness of the shoe. Definitely for the heavier runner (which I am). I recommend the shoe if you've had "clunky" shoes in the past. The New Balance 587 is similar with nowhere near the chunkiness. But you will near to add a better insert to absorb shock.

It’s been a long time since I’ve owned a pair. I haven't owned a pair of Etonic running shoes since my freshmen year in college. And again I am blown- away with the quality and comfort built in to this shoe. Truly the finest running shoe I have ever owned, I am currently placing an order for another pair.

Felt uncomfortable right away - I put on this shoe with my orthotic hoping it would feel great. The bottom of my foot actually felt really bad, like the shoe was made wrong. I think Zappos is a great company but not this shoe. I will be sending it back and looking for another one.

Great shoes - They felt a little stiff at first, but the more I wear them, the better they are!

Walking - I really like these shoes. They are a little hard to get on, but the fit is true to size, and they have a great arch support. They relieve stress in your legs and hips from walking.

Look a little funny but feel great. The sole of the shoe is so wide you'll feel like you're walking around in heels for a day or 2 but the comfort, particularly when running, is incredible. Now it took me about 3 days back to back of running for an hour to get used to these shoes but once I did I noticed a significant improvement in the distance I could run and my fatigue afterwards (no longer felt like my legs were going to fall off below my knee!! back felt better too after a run.). For walking around there is no break in time at all, right out of the box these shoes feel pretty good. Only thing I wish was different was that they had a hook and loop version of this shoe instead of laces only.

Great, Great Shoe - I developed a foot problem - heel bone spur – flat feet. I have a very hard time working a 10 hour day on my feet. This shoe with doctor inserts has saved me. It's just been a couple of days and what a difference. Zappos got the order to me very quickly. I'm very impressed with this shoe and Zappos.

Too small- I ordered these shoes because they were advertised as Double Depth orthotic ready construction. When I received them I took the insole and spacer out and put my very thin orthotic in. After that there was not enough room for my foot. I don’t feel this shoe is near deep enough to be advertised as double depth orthodic ready. I am returning the shoes. Zappos is a wonderful place to purchase shoes and do business. I wish all business in the world were run as well as Zappos. Congratulations to Zappos, but not to Etonic double depth orthotic ready shoes.

6.5 - Important to know that although this looks sturdy on the top, it is not. It is pliable and thin, unlined like a ballet slipper. The toe is very narrow. Be sure you get the cardboard out of the toes! At first I didn't see it! The heel has the air support which felt great, but it was like they forgot the toe box, it had no support at all and was very narrow. I would say these are more sporty looking casual shoes than for actual athletic wear. The beige color is really great looking in person. I wish they had paid more attention to the toe area. I really wanted to keep these, but they weren't comfortable enough. You'll probably love them if you have a narrow foot b/c they are so pliable, you can lace them tightly to fit close and they are narrow in the toes already.

The best shoe ever - I wore this shoe to Europe and walked and walked, and my feet never hurt. All my other friends’ feet hurt, and all I could say was you should have bought a Rockport!! These are awesome shoes. Highly recommend, 10 days of walking.

Pleased with the buy - Other reviews indicated the shoe was on the small side--since I have narrow feet and the shoe only came in a medium, I was encouraged. When it arrived, it was a perfect fit and extremely comfortable. I am using it to do my treadmill workouts.

Not true to size - This shoe was cut very narrow across the toes, and even though I can sometimes wear a 9.5, my toes push against the top of this size 10 shoe. I will have to send these back, since it is not made in a 10.5.

Comfort, looks, has it all - Love this shoe. I wish the toe box were a bit wider, otherwise I have no complaints. It looks much dressier than a normal sporty type shoe, and is extremely comfortable.
