In 1904, company founder Isaac Spiewak first sold his sheepskin vests on the streets of New York City. From one large room in Brooklyn, Isaac and his sons watched their business grow through two World Wars and the Great Depression. With the third generation, Spiewak expanded to meet the changing needs of American industry and create new fashion trends.
Throughout the decades, Spiewak has left its mark on everything from arctic wear to military garments to the pages of leading fashion magazines and trend reports.
Today, the fourth generation, Michael and Roy Spiewak, are carrying on the family legacy, their mission is to keep a tradition of innovation alive; to continue to build on the firm foundation established a century ago by creating forward reaching design while still utilizing their extensive archives to serve as inspiration.
